MicroOLAP Announces Database Designer for MySQL

MicroOLAP Technologies released their new generation CASE tool, microOLAP Database Designer for MySQL.

Database Designer for MySQL is a visual development system intended for database design, modeling, creation, modification, and reverse engineering. Database Designer for MySQL is specially developed for the MySQL database and takes into account its features, including various MySQL table types such as InnoDB, Berkeley DB, MyISAM, and ISAM; MySQL references; and all MySQL field types.

Database Designer for MySQL allows you to develop a database in an easy-to-understand visual environment by working with graphical representation of tables, columns, relations, and other database objects.

Finally, a database developer can get a Physical Entity Relationship Model that can be exported in a SQL script, or directly built on a working MySQL database server. After a database model/diagram is modified it may be synchronized with an existing MySQL database.

Database Designer for MySQL allows you to extract tables, attributes, relationships, indexes, and other objects from existing databases, including MySQL, Access and Sybase ASE/ASA, Oracle, Informix, MSSQL, DB2, DBF, and many others that are accessible through OLEDB or ODBC, and import (reverse engineer) them into your diagram.
